Litho-laminated packaging represents a combination of printed material and the mechanical strength of corrugated cardboard. The litho-lamination process involves gluing a pre-printed sheet onto open corrugated cardboard, which allows for significantly better graphic quality compared to direct printing on corrugated material.

At Jamnik, we primarily litho-laminate onto:

  • open two-layer F, E, and B flutes,
  • four-layer combinations of E+F and E+E flutes.

The choice of flute depends on:

  • product dimensions,
  • required load-bearing capacity,
  • mode of transport,
  • desired visual effect,
  • packaging construction.

F and E flutes are most commonly used for premium packaging of small and medium dimensions, where high-quality appearance and precise print reproduction are important, while B flute allows for greater stability and load-bearing capacity of the packaging.

Litho-laminated packaging enables:

  • greater packaging rigidity,
  • better product protection,
  • premium appearance,
  • effective product presentation at the point of sale.

Approximately 40% of our production is litho-laminated packaging, while the remaining 60% is solid board packaging. This allows us great flexibility in choosing the optimal packaging solution according to the requirements of each individual project.

Litho-laminated packaging is often used for:

  • cosmetic products,
  • food products,
  • technical products,
  • promotional packaging,
  • gift and premium packaging solutions,
  • shelf-ready and retail-ready packaging.

Flute types

  • F flute: Very fine flute for premium packaging with high print quality requirements and an elegant appearance.
  • E flute: One of the most common solutions for retail packaging with a good balance between stability and visual appearance.
  • B flute: Suitable for packaging with higher requirements for load-bearing capacity and product protection.
  • E+F and E+E combinations: Multi-layer constructions for additional stability and greater mechanical resistance of the packaging.
