Sustainability permeates all aspects of our business. This is evidenced by the certificates obtained and the solar power plant on the roof of our company. At the same time, we are creating more and more exceptional packaging with modern effects from recycled materials.
But let’s look at how successful we are at Jamnik in reducing our carbon footprint:
➡ The total carbon footprint of the organization Jamnik d.o.o. for 2022 is 897.685 kg CO2.
➡ The CO2 value per individual employee was 9.222 kg.
This means that last year we managed to reduce our carbon footprint by as much as 10.6%!
We have also set an ambitious goal for this year. We expect that we will further reduce our carbon footprint by 10–15%, as we will:
➡ Install another, additional solar power plant on the roof of the company.
➡ Increase the share of purchased electricity from 100% renewable sources.
At the same time, we strive to ensure that through timely planning of raw material delivery transport and product shipping, they arrive at and leave our premises in full trucks. We have smaller deliveries of auxiliary materials only twice a week, and in this way, we encourage our suppliers to consolidate our orders and deliver them together. In this way, we also plan our delivery deadlines.
Whenever it makes sense, we also use recycled cardboard for packaging and raise awareness among customers about the positive aspects of using it.
